Dearest reader,

As some of you may know, I started blogging in 2016 and for the first nine years of that journey this corner of the internet was called Posh, even though, nothing in my life was truly refined nor upper class (especially as a teenager). Hence why, Posh was always a funny, aspirational and, at times, snobish alterego that allowed me to exist under its shadow and guidence. I simply enjoyed the fantasy of what that name provided, which was a kind of costume play of all things luxurious.

Fast forward to 2025 and I am still that ridiculous woman, only now, I don't feel the need for a name to disguise my identity. Not that there is anything wrong about picking an artist name! However, at this particular point in time, it simply feels right to give up Posh – a name that doesn't really resonate with me or the current climate of our world. So when change is due, one must embrace it.

Furthermore, I cannot exactly explain it, but there is a certain restrain that comes with Posh: an expectation of perfection, ability to consume and attain a certain lifestyle. And while I will remain ridiculous there needs to be a level of deeper truth and connection to what I create. Therefore, my world – the world of Siiri – albeit, is rooted in romance, poetry and ballet, is also a place where I want to be able to say that: it doesn't matter if your diamonds aren't real as long as you believe they are.

Moreover, at 25 I want to represent someone living her life impertfectly – making mistakes, breaking my heart, saying the wrong thing and sometimes (yes) sweating under my armpits – without the strain of propriety or fear of being non posh. After all, if you cannot tell the truth what is the point of writing about it?

Naturally, there have been some changes. First of all, I have changed my logos, the website name and address into www.yourstrulysiiri.com which, to me, feels a much more sensiable a name right now. Secondly, I will no longer market myself as a fashion blog but rather a lifestyle space of someone navigating the peculiarities of modern society, which, of course, includes style content as well. Ultimately, my vision is to create an online diary, or rather, a digital letter box of unsealed correspondence focusing on storytelling and honoring the art of letter writing, to which any of you can respond in the comments if you wish.

So there you have it dearest readers. I don't know if this made any sense but I wanted to explain it to you as good as I can.

At any rate, today begins my new chapter or, as I like to call it, my renaissance of blog writing as Yours Truly, Siiri not devoid of elegance just a little more vulnerable and focused on telling my story as me.

You are welcome to join or exit at any point of the journey.

Until next time!

Yousr Truly,

Siiri
